This booklet has been produced to help managers, teachers and support staff to explore EDI information and guidance relating to common operational situations and issues.
One of the biggest challenges for staff wanting to embed EDI into their professional practice is the fear of doing the “wrong thing”. This booklet will help leaders, managers, staff and support staff staff to identify a range of options, possible solutions and potential sources of expertise that can be called upon.
This booklet is about demystifying EDI and explaining that this issue is not a “soft option” benefiting the few; it is about renewing, reinventing and reminding yourself (and others) of the purpose of your organisation to the benefit of all.
The primary purpose of this booklet is to help managers when they are working in collaboration and partnership on Post 16 Education and learning.
