Anchoring Equality: Leading EDI in Challenging Times

Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) are no longer simply aspirations they are imperatives. Yet across the globe and here in the UK, we are witnessing a chilling trend: governments and organisations are rolling back on EDI commitments.

The dismantling of equity policies, the restriction of inclusive language, and the downgrading of funding for EDI initiatives are becoming more frequent.

This course, Anchoring Equality, is a timely response to that trend. It has been created specifically for Equality Leads, EDI trainers, and change agents who find themselves navigating increasingly resistant or performative organisational climates.

Using the 5Ps Framework (Policies, Processes, Procedures, Practice, People Development), 5Cs Framework (Commitment, Communication, Culture, Challenge, Competence), and FREDIE Principles (Fairness, Respect, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Engagement), this course empowers participants to lead with clarity, courage, and strategy even when the winds are against us.

This course is not just about reacting to change it is about shaping it. Anchoring EDI means embedding it into the very structures and values of an organisation so that inclusion remains steady, even when external forces threaten to shake it loose.
