This course helps educators deepen their understanding of racism — structural, institutional and interpersonal — and explore how bias, privilege and discrimination shape the experiences of students and colleagues. Through practical tools, real classroom examples and reflective discussion, participants learn how to teach confidently about race, challenge harmful behaviours and embed equality throughout the curriculum and wider learning culture. It’s a powerful programme that equips staff to lead with integrity, model inclusive practice and create educational spaces where diversity is celebrated and every voice is heard.
The programme provides teachers and lecturers with practical tools for teaching and communicating around racism, colonialism, global citizenship, interconnection, immigration and diversity.
