Training to build meaningful mentor partnerships, deepen understanding of lived experiences and support inclusive organisational culture.
Reverse mentoring creates powerful opportunities for learning, connection and cultural change. This programme helps senior leaders and junior colleagues build meaningful partnerships that challenge assumptions, deepen understanding and strengthen organisational trust. Through guided reflection, EDIB principles and structured conversations, participants gain insight into lived experiences across the organisation — helping both mentors and mentees see their workplace through new lenses. The result is a more open, inclusive culture where voices are heard, perspectives are valued and leadership becomes more human, responsive and connected.
The training is offered to HR, Resource professionals and individuals within the organisation who are interested in supporting and enabling an effective matching process between SLT/Board members/chairs and junior staff members.
Once the reverse mentors and mentees have been identified, they will be suitably matched.
As part of their development, they will be introduced to the practices and principles of EDIB as a means of gaining further understanding from various situations and peoples’ perspectives.
This programme is designed to empower and encourage each participant to learn from one another, with the aim of improving their understanding of the organisation and working relationships through each other's lenses.
This will give the reverse mentor (a more junior member of staff) insight from a senior perspective, and the mentee (the senior member of staff) insight into the lived experiences of junior colleagues within the organisation.
The course is delivered as a 1‑day workshop. Delivery is through a mixture of methods and involves delegates in group exercises and discussions. Training is practical, interactive and designed to build confidence in both mentors and mentees.
All our courses are tailored to ensure the training reflects your organisation’s goals and priorities.
The course can be delivered face to face or online, via Zoom or Teams.
Please note: the half-day rate is not always available for face-to-face sessions.
