Practical
We connect equality knowledge to the situations, decisions and responsibilities people encounter in their work.
About EDUK
Practical equality, diversity and inclusion support for organisations and individuals since 1997.
We combine specialist knowledge with training, consultancy, resources and ongoing professional support to help people put equality, diversity and inclusion into practice.
Who we are
Equality and Diversity UK works with organisations and individuals across public, private, voluntary and community settings.
Our work includes training, consultancy, coaching, mentoring, facilitation, organisational assessment and the development of practical EDI resources. These services can be delivered individually or in combination, depending on what an organisation needs.
We support organisations with immediate challenges as well as longer-term development. That may involve strengthening knowledge and confidence, reviewing policies and practice, developing more inclusive workplace cultures or helping people respond constructively to discrimination and inequality.
Our focus is not simply on raising awareness. We help people translate learning into decisions, behaviours and practical action that can make a meaningful difference.
How we work
EDUK’s work is designed to be relevant, constructive and connected to the realities of each organisation.
We connect equality knowledge to the situations, decisions and responsibilities people encounter in their work.
Content and support are shaped around the people, sector, context, priorities and culture of the organisation.
We create space to explore difficult issues, challenge assumptions and build confidence without avoiding complexity.
Learning is connected to reflection, responsibility and clear actions that can strengthen inclusive practice.
What we do
Our services can address a specific need or form part of a broader programme of organisational development.

Explore the NetworkLearning and change
We want learning to be relevant, retained and used.
Where appropriate, we use discussions and pre-training questions to understand participants’ needs and organisational context. Examples, case studies and policy considerations can then reflect the setting in which people work.
Our work is evaluated and reviewed so that programmes remain useful, inclusive and connected to meaningful change.
